Characteristics: between 20 and 40 arms, very spiny appearance, rough texture, blue to blue-grey colour. Important ecological role: apex predator of rocky and reef areas. Its diet is carnivorous (mollusks and other invertebrates).

Not dangerous, but avoid contact and never handle as it is fragile and protected.
